She Is In Tune With The Moon — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Is In Tune With The Moon

She Is In Tune With The Moon

The rhythm she flows with
Is dancing in time
With the tides,
The shadows,
The feelings inside.

The music she hears
That fills her sweet song
Is bursting with energy
Ecstatic
Strong

The melody she moves with
Is not in her control
But she listens – Intently
She knows
She belongs

The Unknown that is magic
The call so enticing
She is lost in the rapture
She can't stop – she is dancing.

Mystical movement
Rapturous song
It pulls her so deeply
Like a drug, no control.

She can't help her feet
as they move on their own
No courting they ask for
They just need the song

Ask any woman who has heard the call
If the moon whispers to her
heart aching, so strong

She is led by the rhythm of moonbeams and silver
Stars her beloved, the nighttime so tender
Watching the luna and feeling the pull
Of the gentle surrender that whispers to her.

No fear of the daybreak, the sun rays, the dawn
No fear of tomorrow, no fear at all.

She's pulled by the rhythm, by the sweetest of tunes
She's pulled by the rhythm, by the Tune of the Moon.
