She Is Magic — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Is Magic

She Is Magic

Crystal? – Sparkles? – Wonder? – Light?
How the magic shines?
How does she know?

Awesome? – Angels? – Speechless? – Entice?
Enthralled by watching her every move

You don't want to believe it but it is true
She knows things that none can know
And yet, assured, she tells you

She doesn't use a magic wand
She uses just her mind

She looks inside her deepest thoughts
For the truth she seeks to find

She casts her eyes around the world
And watches what goes on

In order to foretell the way
She sings her simple song

The pureness of her heart will lead
The world, its creatures too

To see there is a beauty still
And time to start anew

She will not stop at every hurdle
She will make her way right through

Assured that this is her life path
Magic love her crew

She chooses to see everything
As beauty is her fuel
To cast a spell into her eyes
This is how her heart it grew

Into a place where she can throw
Her judgment to the wind
And throw her net to catch the fall
Of every man, woman and child

Her intuition is the key
She trust it to make choices
That she might not have courage to
If she listens to the voices

So sisters do not hesitate
To feel the truth abide
Do not hesitate to ask
The Magic is inside
