The Knowing
The Stirring in her innermost core
It began
Uneasy
Transitory
Uncomfortable
Pain
Heartache
Confusion
Sadness
She looked around and thought she was on her own
Suddenly different when yesterday she was a part of the madness
She spoke but was not heard
She talked and no one listened
Was she making sense or had she lost her mind to that madness
Rushing, wanting, quicker, faster, more and more
And yet
Something quiet was calling her heart
Pulling on her soul
Knocking on her conscience
It was a whisper but stronger than anything she had felt before
It was invisible but had such power she could not resist
It was untouchable and yet had more energy than anything she had been made aware of in the world
She had no choice but to listen
She had no choice but to seek
She had no choice but to feel it,

Whilst her lips were sealed the words appeared
Whilst her heart was hidden it opened wide
Whilst her eyes were closed she saw the vision
A better way for you and I
She felt a new awakening
She felt a new feeling
She felt a stir of hope again
She felt a new beginning
She formed a bond between old and new
She forgave transgressions old
She gave herself permission
A new life to unfold
It took some time for fog to clear
It took actions to be done
It took some ups and downs for her
To see the truth become
She learnt to trust the energy
She learnt to trust her knowing
She learnt to hear her inner core
The stirring as it’s flowing
She felt the hope begin to rise
She felt the love again
She felt a part of bigger things
She felt alive within
She opened up her eyes to see
Her sisters in the world
Had heard the call, felt energy
The power was for all
She was not alone
She could be heard
She too could see the vision
Of women rising, leading love
Independent, full and living
Abundant lives for one and all
Sharing gifts they’re given
Receiving all they need to pass
Legacy their mission
It came just as the world was angry
A harsh reality
When all we’d learnt had not been used
For the benefit of all
This feeling, knowing, energy
Was felt, the highest call
So women gather in your friends
Your beauty it is needed
To heal the world, to help to mend
The future we are writing
