Her Why
She doesn’t have to have the answers
She doesn’t need to have the clues
As to what this life is all about
For she has work to do
She doesn’t have to know the reason
All she needs to do is try
As long as there is suffering
She has her reason why
She knows what pain does feel like
She knows transition too
She knows that feeling worthy
Is sometimes hard to do
Occasionally quite lonely
Is she the only one who cares?
But knows if there are others too
She has her love to share
There are times when she has wondered
What in life there is to do
If it is all worth it.
If there is meaning to,
This life that we are living,
She has sometimes cause to doubt
But she came to the conclusion
She would never figure out
But as long as there are others
Who need care and loving too
Whilst animals need weaning
Whilst farms need tending too
Whilst care it must be given
To those who long to have
The love that we can give them
Our reason we must live
So if you ever start to question
Your reason here on earth
Just look around and seek out
Others looking too the search
As the paradigm approaches
There has never been a time
When no longer can you question
Your reason, your big why?
