She is on a Mission

To save the world
To spread love and peace
To find solutions
To make a better way

Lofty, trite you may think her crazy
Bonkers, madness! You may laugh in her face
She doesn’t care for her purpose is stronger
Than any rejection she finds on her way

As it is her mission
It keeps her moving
It keeps her sane
It keeps her in integrity

For whilst there is war she must keep going
For whilst there is hunger she must carry on
For whilst there are people suffering in silence
Her mission is simple
She shares her own song

She thought long and hard about how she could entice you
She looked up the differences we have all embraced
She sought to give comfort and purpose and reason
She sought to serve others from her place of grace

In kindness, compassion and love she moved forward
Looking in places that were brought to mind
Serendipitous findings she took to her mission
The answers were given – They all fell in line

She sat in the quietness to give practice and purpose
To others in order to spread the kind words
That there is a way for the world to move forward
In action and forethought, in spreading the good

No small work is seen to be lesser, unworthy
Each person has value to be recognised
If we could all see this, our world would be stronger
If we lose our anger and see through their eyes

She will keep moving
Her mission to spread love
In practical ways to bring peace of mind
To all those who suffer and wish to be part of
The word she is spreading
Those whose purpose to find

And every time that the fear starts to creep in
She thinks of her mission and the work to be done
It brings her the courage to keep moving forward
It gives her the strength to love singing her song
