She Found Her Purpose — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Found Her Purpose

She Found Her Purpose

Her sweet spot
Her joy
Her essence
Her laughter
Her gift to employ

She found it by looking
In every way
In every crevice
In every day

She made a decision
Herself to make good
Her life
Her soul purpose
Her spiritual food

She sat back, reflected
On all that she had
She read her own story
Front cover to back

She remembered her glory
And all that she’d learnt
She remembered her passions
And where she’d been burnt

She went back in time
To her happy space
When nothing could stop her
Her happiest place

She remembered all she did
She needed, she took
And all that she gave
With her heart through her work

Going through chapters
One page at a time
She realised what she’d learnt
Could be gathered and bound

Into a purpose that would fill her up
And spill over to others and close up the gap

Realisation dawning
A moment profound
She needn’t be angry
She needn’t resound

She could work from her centre
Her humble inside
Where her heart meets her spirit
Where her love does collide

With intuitive knowing
Intense certainty
She had found her purpose
It filled her with glee

And as she went with it
Riding her wave
Her life opened up more
Her knowledge more gained

She gained more in herself
Her confidence grew
She started to blossom
She started anew

And others could see it
They wanted it too
The secret she carried
For me and for you

So sharing her purpose
Become all she could do
It took on its own speed
It grew and it grew

She blossomed
She flowered
She shared loved with grace
She had found her own purpose
She had found her own space
