She Chooses To See Beauty — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Chooses To See Beauty

She Chooses To See Beauty

One day
She Chose
To See Only Beauty

Thunder Crashing
Wind lashing
Seas stormy
Rain warning

Hearth calling
Tea scalding
Cake taunting
Heart warming

Laughing gently
Hearty bending
Over taking
With love making

Dewdrops teasing
Lemon squeezing
Flowers turning
In the breeze

Baby laughing
Old folks dancing
Slow and steady
Hard and fast

Gentle rocking
To the rhythm
Story telling
Heaven scent

Whiffs of pleasure
Pirate treasure
Bread and butter
Sand and Sea

Her heart grew happy
Her smile enchanting
She shared her love
For all to see

Chocolate senses
Love romances
Playful dances
Not alone

Singing gently
Roaring plenty
Her soul was open
Her love was sown

She chose the beauty
That was what she'd see
When times were hard
When times were slow

Simple pleasures
Are the best treasures
She chose the beauty
Beauty to know
