She Is Disciplined — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Is Disciplined

She Is Disciplined

For her dreams to come true
She knows she must do
All that she plans
All that she can
For there is no one else who feels
The desire that she holds
In her heart, in her mind
In her body, in her soul

So when she is decided
No more she accepts
What life tends to serve her
When she does nothing but doubt

She chooses, determined
The action to take
In order to live life
In happiness, great

She thinks of a future
Her legacy left
And then gently dreams backwards
To begin the next step

For the secret to being
The secret to life
Is to contribute something
That makes us feel nice

Do not work in anger
Do not work in shame
Start sharing your beauty
For others to gain

And once you begin to see
Them taking heed
Of how you are living
Of how your life is to be

Happy and worthy
Contented and free
Your self-contribution
Sets you and them free

Slightly addictive
In a wonderful way
The cycle of living
Karma each day

She knows that to top up her cup with her glee
Discipline is needed eternally

So it becomes easy
And part of her life
And next she can gather
Learn more to ignite

Her passions
Her pleasures
Her internal fire
Come from sacredly honouring
Her own deep desire
