Huge shoes to fill
This woman I speak of
The epitome of good will
Never unkind
Faultless and pure
A woman of substance
Love incarnated for sure
Someone to look up to
Someone to care
Someone to hold you
She will always be there
She fights for the children
She stands up for the poor
Doing her best
For her I'm in awe
No lines of distinction
No judgment displayed
No one can love more
Than her in a day
If there are models to follow
If there are paths we must tread
There are none as worthy
From her love to be led
So look for new leaders
In mothers and kin

Pure gold within
I am truly grateful
I am truly blessed
