She experiences adversity just as you or I
But her power is to get back up
Her love will get her by
She has the tools to understand that only she can be
The one to face the challenges of life and yet be free
She takes the time to understand the process she must use
To undermine emotions felt that really do no good
She fills the space of negative with beauty and with power
The exercises must be done for her return to self
Sometimes the voices that she speaks are not felt deep inside
And yet she knows with every breath she changes state of mind
Mantra’s, affirmations, songs of happiness and cheer
Used as often as is felt for her become love, release fear
Her state of mind the one resource that no one else can ever claim
Her choice to be her one true love and no one else to blame
Once developed practices are there for her to take
When they are needed she picks one, her happiness to make
Choosing words that fill her up with what she needs to do
The things that are most pressing for the day she’s woken to
Sometimes once is all she needs to fill her to the brim
At other times she must repeat again, again, again
Power, passion, purpose filled
Energy or rhythm
She sits down quietly and asks
Intuition answers given
I am love
I am good
I am full of cheer
I have all I need to do my job well and be driven
I am peace
I am pure
I am more than enough
To achieve my daily need to feel full and happy freedom
Resilience gets up again
Again, again, again
There is no stopping her you see
Resilient heart within
