She Chooses Her Destiny — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Chooses Her Destiny

She Chooses Her Destiny

Enough she has had
Enough she is
To create the true world
In which she will live

Enough with the anger
Enough with the shame
She has the power
She is done with the pain

Looking within
For her true desires
She doesn’t need mansions
But does need real smiles

She wants to live fully
Openly, free
To share her own message
From a place of pure glee

She looks back on her life
Her happiest parts
And sees how she made them
How she felt in her heart

Instilling this feeling
Down deep in her soul
She thinks of her gifts
Of how she can grow

She goes to the end of her life
Here on earth
And looks back on time
To see what she has birthed

Taking time to ensure
That regrets are so few
Making lists to accomplish
What she must do

Making plans from her ending
Ensures that she lives
Fully and freely
With plenty to give

She knows how she wants to
Feel good and achieve
Her earthly walk
Her wants and her needs

From this place of accomplishment
She knows what to do
Taking each step with duty
With purpose anew

Expanding awareness
Seeing opportunity
Expanding horizons
Synchronicity

She chooses her future
And begins it today
Her purpose revealing
As she actions her way

Her destiny magic
Mysterious, kind
Miraculous action
Non-attached mind

The old way of living
Dictated and small
Is not for liking
Is not for her call

She rises to action
She rises to be
She chooses her future
And creates her Destiny
