Sun
Earth
Moon
Breath in transition
Breath out destiny
Every moment
Within her now
Legacy
She believes
She knows what you want her to do
She has the blood of a thousand stars running through her veins
She has the memories of a thousand ancestors beating in her heart
Sometimes
Somewhere
Somehow
Dreams come true
Oh, where did I lose my sparkle
Oh, how did I let it go
Oh, when will I return to all that
Inherently I know, I know
Sitting
In this part of the world
On her own
She feels the sadness of her ancestors
Tears flow in her heart
It does not matter
Where she lives
What she looks like
Where she comes from
She is of the same making
She is of the earth
She is of this time
And yet, she feels the ancient stirring
Knowledge and wisdom
Universal laws
Magic
She was born with it
And yet, it was not allowed to flourish
Dogma, doctrine
Born into a time of change
Born into a time of transition
Where the rich inhabitants wear entitlement like it is of value
Where the cultural traditions are unable to trust us mere mortals
I call out to you
Listen,
I am here
I am sure that I am not the only one
As I feel the pain of the call on the lips of countless others
Ready to stand up to the past and the present and create the future that you remember
I have remembered
I have cleansed myself of modern ways
Of history and fear
And I stand here, my naked words ready to take a beating from those who cannot hear me
I have allowed the tears of yesteryear
The tears from our children of the future
Ravage my being until there was nothing left
Except for truth
Standing here before you like a pitiful crone you may think
But I am stronger now than I ever was
For all that I am is formed from disseminating right from wrong
Asking, seeking, finding
In my soul I am armed with the honesty of my path
Very far from perfect
Yet determined to do good
For, if I do not pick up my sword
And fight for what is right and just
Then someone who has yet to find their integrity
May fool the folk who walk the easy path to follow them
I know now that we must lead to create leaders
Graceful, masters of justice
The Kings and Queens of Abundance
Are gathering
Their kingdoms have no borders
They see one another through the eyes of kindness and compassion
They have learnt the great secrets of time
Of history
Of the universe
These secrets have no borders
They are the elixir of the bold, the significant
The impactful and brave
Those who are ready
To fight their own personal demons
To take one step at a time
To acknowledge their imperfections
To learn
To lead
To embody
To love
And return to the world
As it is
Right now
And show the way
Please do not dismiss me
My blood is filled with the energy of time
The cells of each and every tribe
We are rising all over this earth
Mother, Father
Spirit
Soul
I am of the new indigenous
I am of the new era
I will teach your ways
For they are our gift to share
I have remembered my sparkle
I have regained my strength
I will not let us live in vain
I will pass on what inherently I know, I know
