Her heart has heard the call
The time has come for her to share
Her gifts with one and all
The world has changed
Yet she has lived
through Times in history
When life was good
And freedom reigned
She wants her children see
She knew that she was made for more
Her heart ached, longed to share
Her usefulness for all to see
How much she truly cared
There came a time when she felt lost
Abandoned, unheard, unseen
The world had failed to see her worth
And she faltered, feeling weak
But now her strength it is returned
Her anger masked with joy
For she works through beauty, kindness love
She sees the powers ploy
She will not fight with weapons cruel
Her words and actions show
How empathy, compassion reign
She need not steep so low
Her wish is that the world may see
That there is a better way
Conscious communication is
Her pen, her-sword, her say
So rise, my Phoenix
Feel your power
