Queens cannot wait
Any longer
Any more
The time to rise is now
As unready as she is
She must be strong
Brave, invincible
For it is her time
She is nervous
Scared and shaky
But she knows that if she does nothing
Then she will fall through the cracks
And disappear, never sharing her gifts
And she cannot live with that
Her life has meaning
Her sisters lives have meaning
Together they can rewrite history
They can make the world a better place
As she sits with her message that she wants to share
Her hands shake
Does anyone want hold her hand?
Or will she be alone on her quest?
She does not know
And realises that if she does not ask
She will never know
And her gifts will be lost
She believes that there is a golden thread
Weaving through the hearts of women
Around the globe
The hearts that are aching
With gifts of love and kindness
Heaving and ready to be born
Into reality
To create a legacy
Of abundance, warmth, compassion and empathy
Individually they rise, adorned with crowns of hope and confidence
These queens know that they were born for this moment
Together, they will show others a new way
And so they join hands
Shaking, their rebellion palpable
They will
Teach others
Self-love
Healing
Empowerment
And a new era of leadership
So she straightens her crown
And gets to work
