The Essence of Grace - A Song of Love

I lift my face up to the sky and see,
Raindrops of love falling on me.

Falling through tears
To wash them away
And fill up my heart
With the Essence of Grace.

The essence my heart has so needed to find,
To bring strength to my soul, my heart and my mind.

Never again my heart empty will be,
With the Essence of Grace unfolding in me.

With it comes hope, compassion and faith,
That life has a reason far greater than hate.

Stranger than fiction I fear you will find,
My Essence of Grace that leads even the blind.

Come with me child, I offer my hand.
No greater love will you find on this land.

Trust me with patience, forgive me my glee,
I promise to show you the Essence I see.

Fill you with wonder, with passion and love,
A greater expression as sent from above.

From the raindrops of love that fell upon my face,
And filled up my life with the Essence of Grace.
