Her Life Is A Masterpiece

Her Life is a Masterpiece
She is an Artist
Designing a life to be lived
Fully
Openly
Within the boundaries of creation
Using that place of beauty
That is hers alone
She paints one brushstroke at a time
Taking a step backward
Every now and again
To ensure the overall direction
Remains in focus to reveal, as she desires
If there is a stain on the canvas
She can incorporate it
She knows that nothing can destroy the beauty
Except for her anger
She can love the stain and paint the picture in a slightly different manner
It was meant to be
See!
She takes another step back to admire her work
Adjusting colours and direction as necessary
Improving
Assimilating
This is her only canvas
She will tend the landscape with love
The portrait in the corner has changed over the years
Once skipping
Once learning
Once creating
Once working
Once caring
Once understanding
Always loving
Learning some more
And the face becomes more beautiful
Revealing the wrinkles of time
The glint of youth
The dash of confidence
The hint of sensuality
The lust of desire
They were always one
She begins at the beginning
Moving through the layers
Background
Outline
Substance
Filling in the gaps when they become apparent
Mixing the paint to work for her if it is not already made
As her life is shown through her work
She needs to be brave enough to share it
In all of its glory
Ready or not
For it is her life’s work
And, taking one step at a time,
Her Life is a Masterpiece
