A new day is upon us
What do we expect?
What can we do better?
We don’t want to regret
We want to live life better
And make ourselves be more
But not at the expense of
That which we adore
Our friends and family
Our planet, our world too
Are needing our help more
Than they ever have before
We set the intention
In this new day
To lay our foundation
To get out of our own way
As Women On Purpose
Our pledge is to share
All our solutions
All of our care
We remember that each job
We hold and we do
Are equal in status
And all worthy too
We hold onto the knowledge
That our legacy
Is to leave the world better
Sharing beauty
For the one major difference
Between the old and the new
Is the cycle we work in
Is both for me and for you
We respect one another
At each stage of life
And aim to support all
In privilege or strife
We know that the role of
A woman does change
From girl, wife or mother
It does not remain
But one thing we can do
The thing we must share
Is love, kindness, compassion
No matter what, no matter where
And if we are able
To put that in place
We will fill our lives up with
True Purpose and Grace
No matter our age now
Enough we will be
Through unique gifts we will share
All make happy
In order to do so
We must first fill our own cup
With all that we need
To keep safe and comfort
And then we can give from
Ourselves, overflow
In strength and in courage
We will surely grow
So we make sure we remember
In times of trouble or toil
That our pledge it is worthy
That our purpose is told
It is written in stories
In prophecy
That the women make better
The world we do see
In order to do so
There are three stages aware
Foundation, then Practice
And practice again
Until we become Masters
Instilled in our ways
To give hope to others
From power and grace
