Her Questions — A Woman On Purpose poem image

Her Questions

Her Questions

What am I here for?
What should I do?
I’m tired of the stresses
And feeling so blue

I’m fed up of feeling so empty inside
And smiling for nothing and trying to hide

I know I’m not alone in feeling this way
And i hope every morning I feel better that day

But the gnawing, the niggle, just gets bigger inside
And my growing discontent is harder to hide

I have to do something it won’t disappear
But if I’m honest I’m full up with fear

I’ve no clue what to look for or where I should start
Should I follow the leader or follow me heart

I’m doubtful that grass will be greener until
The lotto is won or I’m left cash in a will

I feel kind of crazy , like I’m losing my mind
And I want to do more for myself and mankind

I’m fecked if I know where to start,
What to do
What’s that? Oh, it’s Monday
Another week gone to pooh

Do you ever feel like this?
