She Is Courageous

She is Courageous
She musters the courage to get the things done
The things that are not quite as easy as some
She conquers her self-doubt and tackles her fear
For there are some things more important, that she holds far more dear.
Each day there are choices to make and decide
Which way she is going, which path she must ride
Her spunk makes it easier to hear her own choice
Her decision is based on her own inner voice
There are mountains to climb, all on her own
Her Courage within her, she must do this alone
To get through the challenges of her daily life
No matter the wrongs, no matter the rights.
She calls on her Courage when the ice seems so thin
The cracks are appearing, she feels them within
She takes a deep breath, takes stock and takes time
As she knows that with her spirit, all will be fine.
You can not buy Courage - it's as precious as Gold
One of life's special gifts, though hard to unfold
If you have not been told where to look, where to see
The Courage that is hidden in you and in me.
Dig deep, my darling. I know you will get
The Courage to feel great, to feel Self-Confident
It is there in the chasm of each mountain you climb
It is there every moment, every second, each time.
