She Is Introspective — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Is Introspective

Introspective
Season Changing
Assessment time
Taking Stock
Re-energize
Gathering of what she needs
To see her through
To fill her
To the brim
Then overflow
It must fill her beauty
It must fill her joy
It must fill her heart
It must fill her soul
Filling her up with the wonder
With the excitement of childhood
She needs to reflect on what must be acknowledged
What she needs to pay attention to
What breeds more love?
What breeds more excitement?
What can she look forward to?
She discards old memories that no longer serve her
She gathers the memories that can be reinvented, reenacted
Relived – Rejoice
What plans can she make?
What joy can she bring?
Who can she take with her?
Who can appreciate the beauty?
The new season approaches
Autumn breeze
Clearing
New beginnings
Excitement
New Shoes
Kicking leaves
New ways
Kicking habits
New loves
Kicking sadness
New adventures
Kicking fear
Fill her up
Introspection
Quiet time
Gathering
Bubbling
Excitement
Decided
Begun
