She Makes An Impact — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Makes An Impact

She Makes An Impact

She doesn’t have to scream and shout
In fact she sometimes even doubts
She doesn’t stop though, that’s her trick
To make an impact, really big

She knows her truth, she knows her why
She knows her purpose is to try
To keep on going through thick and thin
To share her gifts on how to win

She fought through fear, her demons too
To share her message, love with you
To release the shame, the pain, the guilt
So you too share love overspill

Her life is hers and hers alone
If she doesn’t do it, regret will show
So playing small does not serve
Her living fully, her love to show

She heals those parts that need to heal
She learns those things that do reveal
Along her path of mystery
Of miracles, of being real

Knowing her gifts, instilled within
She wrapped them up, for you to see
If you are looking, wondering
What makes her tick, happy to be

As visible, as free to share
Her naked truth, her soul to bare
With all who need to hear her cry
She knows that she cannot be shy

She sings, she laughs, she tells her story
In her own way, in her own glory
Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud
Authentically and really proud

Her ego tinged, her spirit filled
She lives on earth and reaches stills
To heavens in the sky above
Whilst walking here heart filled with love

She fills her vessel with all that she
Needs to live here happily
Not greedily and not with shame
For this life legacy her game

She Makes An Impact
With her life
She does her work
Filled with love
She finds her message
Her art, her duty
And does it well
Filled with beauty
