She Rests
For a minute
For a day
For a month
For a year
Every woman needs to take her rest
Time out to just be
Time out to just see
Time out to find her way
For a Woman is always on purpose
At every stage of her life
Society does not value each stage
And some of us are ready to change this
It will not be easy
We do need to work together
But rest assured
We support you even if you feel you should be doing more
If you are not ready
If you do all that you can
If you are busy
If you have all that you need
That is enough
Just rest
If you are feeling the call
If you have the pulling energy of now
If you can take action
If you are ready to make the change
You still need time to
Just rest
If you are weary
If you are doubtful
If you are saddened
If you are weak
Let us hold you
In our knowing
That it is your time
Just rest
You are as worthy
You are as special
You are amazing
You are unique
When it is your time
To hold the space for
Your sisters
Your heart will speak
So do not judge yourself
Do not chastise
Do not fret, dear
Do not cry
Just rest until you
Get enough strength
To move forward
To your own beat

Just remember you are important
