She Woke Up

She Woke Up
One day she woke up
She decided
She made a promise
To herself
To live her best life
To make the world a better place
She had no idea how
She had no idea when
But that decision
Was so powerful
She knew she would do it
She had to
She woke up the next day
And she remembered the promise
She had to remind herself of her strength
A journey embarked on
A passion worth sharing
To make the best from her place
Of terror and despair
It took lots of practice
She had to keep trying
To remember the courage she had deep inside
But when she instilled love
Her courage embodied
She felt brave and unstoppable
She knew she was ‘there’
A plan in the making
Embracing the flow of
Natural rhythm the ebb and the tide
Not always enjoying the waves that are crashing
Around her, within her and most everywhere
But instead of retreating
She embraced the power
Of strength and determined motion overflow
For as long as the world was heaving in anger
Her purpose of caring was needed to share
She keeps on the path of
Love and devotion
Her knowing that love will overcome
Along with her working in time with the moment
Her dreams she is living, practices grow
She keeps on with learning, with trust and with action
She works with the tools she is given right now
For she has remembered the day that she woke herself up
Took back her life
Her passion to sow
She lives for the moment
She lives for the future
She gathers what she needs to share and to grow
She woke up and realised
That life was worth living
Where she took control
Responsible care
Money and power in love are as needed
Her worthiness treasured
Her confidence shows
She Woke Up
And knew that
In order to make
The difference she wanted
In her life and the world
She needed to learn more
To be more, To have more
She needed to give more
She needed to gift herself to support this
She needed to gather
She needed to sow
She Woke Up to the knowledge
That the only one going
To give her the life that she wanted to live
Was dormant inside her
And ready to wake up
To live life
To love
Take ownership, pleasure
In living her best life
She woke up and was ready
She relaxed, She was ‘there’
