She Makes Magic — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Makes Magic

She Makes Magic

Iridescent
Sparkle
Stardust
Sprinkled down

In the twinkling of the heavens
In the blinking of the eye
She makes the magic happen
And she knows the reason why

In all of the worlds beauty
There has never been
A magic star like she has
Been given to be seen

The rapture of the dark night
The moonbeams on the sea
Iridescent sparkle
For the whole wide world to see

She doesn’t have all of the answers
But knows that she can be
The solution to the problem
Filling the world up with beauty

For there has never been a time
Like this for her to show
The world abundance, happiness
For all and love to sow

It is in her deepest, pure desire
The secret lies within
She turns sadness into happiness
Making magic for her kin

She used to think the magic
Was for others and not her
Until she took a little time
She gave herself a little care

She thought of all the precious things
That made her life light up
That made her shine like diamonds
The stars from up above

With practice she could see the awe
The wonder and the joy
That all the time she had the gift
It was hers for her employ

She took the truth as purpose given
To spread the magic round
To sprinkle dust of love and peace
To the ones feeling most down

And now she practices her spells
Within her heart and mind
She shares the gift of wisdom pure
For all others magic find

Iridescent
Sparkle
Stardust
Sprinkled down

She shares the magic gift she sees
She shares magic – beauty bound
She makes practice and embodying
The magic sparkle so profound
