I am angry
I make no excuses
I’ll not be quiet
I’ll speak my mind
For if I don’t
Peace I’ll not find
All lives have meaning
But I’ll not rest
Whilst only those in power get
The choice to make themselves much more
The meantime most remain so poor
Brainwashed masses, fed huge lies
The world is crumbling before our eyes
Segregation, vile unrest
Teaching children greed knows best
Filthy oceans, air unclean
How can humans be so mean?
Twilight mixed with poison glow
What are we breathing? Heaven knows
Wars and savage terror reign
Whilst the rich get richer, gain
The poor get poorer and their angst
Becoming hostile they join rank
Divide and conquer, cycles show
That’s how human conflict grows
Yet education filtered, dumbed
Decide societal ants are groomed
Led to do what others see
Success and happiness to be
Yet we the brave know there is more
To knowing self and values core
All life has meaning, it’s ours to find
There’s so much more than daily grind
And if you realise yourself
It’s up to you to share the wealth
For if we do not share our purpose
Life cycles will become a circus
Gaining more for those who have
Whilst taking from our future selves
So yell your wisdom and not stop
To share the truth, to share the plot
It’s time for leaders with integrity
To lead with courage, let the world see
That rebels come together now
To lead with purpose showing how
That there is a better way to live
That life means more when you can give
Yell your message
Speak your mind
Share the truth
For all mankind
Yell in how and what you do
Embody kindness through and through
Don’t be afraid to spread the news
