I See You

I see you, my darling

You’ve got so much to share
So much to offer
And you’re so unaware

Of the change you could bring to the world if you knew
How to package your wisdom, the essence of you!

You could make someone happy
You could change their whole life
You could lesson a burden
Become a beacon of light

Take one thing that you’re good at
Or something you know
Plant a seed of compassion
For your courage to grow

What does it look like?
How does it feel?
What is the story that you want it to tell?
Now place your gift in a parcel
Wrap it up with a bow
Put it up in the window and watch how it sells

You could make a pastry filled with passion inside
You could sew a new garment that some bulges could hide
You could paint a new future to light up your dreams
You could gather the lonely and fill their hearts up with glee

Please don’t keep your secrets, your gifts and your wares
There is someone who’s waiting, your unique atelier
