A Woman On Purpose is a Procrastinator!
She tells the time
She moves a cup
She tells herself to hurry up
She makes the tea
She makes the bed
But she should be doing work instead
She peeps again into the screen
To see what she has missed, not seen
For though she looked just minutes back
She may have missed, been distracted!
She looks outside
She walks the dog
She wonders if she kissed a frog!
She dreams a bit
She eats some cake
Then thinks that may have been a mistake!
She looks again, just to be sure
She needs to check on something more
She can't remember what it is
See's something else, oh look, what's this!
She buys a pen
A notebook too
A bag to hold her stuff
She checks to see
If what she's bought
Is moving quick enough
What's for dinner? What's for lunch?
That surely is important
Her health is tantamount to bring
Her mind back into focus
She sits back down
To pay her bills
And her mind begins to wander
To lazy days,
And summer dreams
Oh dear, she's come asunder
