She Sees You — poem by Alexandra Gold

She Sees You

A Woman On Purpose Sees You!

She has seen that look before
Seen the sadness
Seen the pain
She has made it her life's purpose
To try to stop
That look again
She sees you in your finest hour
She sees you in your dreams
She sees you be the best you can
Be all you need to be
She sees you when you find no hope
In all you try to do
She sees you when your falling down
She sees you pulling through
She sees you when your fraught and scared
When nothing you may see
Will fill you up with what you need
She tries to set you free
She sees that anger, hatred too
She sees injustice, greed
She sees all the things that make you mad
She waits for you to see
She will not rush you, will not push
The seeing that she knows
She just holds your hand and waits
For you to ask, to share
She sees that every woman
Has a rhythm of her own
Some are fast and some are stopping
There is no wrong or right to flow
She sees her own path very clearly
She does not need to turn your head
She just gently shows you to the outline
She lets you see your road ahead
She sees you as you cross her pathway
Respecting you for all you are
She sees you seeing her more clearly
She sees you and you see her smile
She is no further, she is no better
She just sees that what you need
Is space to grow, to see, to be you
For you to see beauty instead
She sees the bright and shiny future
All those seeking choose to build
For one seer needs another
To make a better future still.
