She Must Heal

She Must Heal
Do you know how important you are?
To this world
To this time
To me?
That feeling you’re feeling
The pain deep inside
Is not to restrain you
Or to make you hide
It is a calling
A strength not yet known
Empathy waiting
For this world to show
That there is an answer
To put all wrongs right
And it isn’t with anger
It isn’t with fight
It’s in finding solutions
Compassionate, kind
And for that to take hold
We need you to find
That comfort
Conviction
Courage
Confidence
We can do this together
Please don’t give up yet
For we see a future
Where all can be free
But in order to make it
It starts with you and me
You are not on your own dear
I’m right by your side
Healing myself and others
With the strength that I find
Through looking at beauty
At nature and those
Whom my love is made up with
And helps me to grow
For the children who suffer
For the elders in pain
Are the power I need
To get over my shame
It’s not about me
It’s not about you
The job we’ve been given
Is greater still too
So take comfort where you can
Gain Courage to see
That with each step you take
You are healing within
I’m waiting to help you
For you see that last step
Of healing myself
Is to share love and respect
That is the secret
That is the missing key
That you need to discover
In order to heal
Healing is a process that is needed not only for ourselves but so that we can step into our best selves and serve from a place of empathic joy and empathic sensitivity. You are enough. You are needed. #awomanonpurpose
