She Receives Gracefully

She Receives Gracefully
All that she desires
All that she needs
All that she is given
All that she sees
Her woes
Her foes
Her happy
Her glad
Her duties
Her cares
Her truth
Her dares
Her comfort
Her peace
Her lover
Her seed
Her pleasure
Her pain
Her losses
Her gains
Her body
Her mind
Her feelings
Inside
Her torment
Her strife
Her laughter
Her life
Her needs are far greater than money or land
She fills up with love and the courage to stand
For justice and kindness, compassion and peace
For without any of these she ceases to be
Her needs are for passion and freedom and dancing
Sustaining foundations with care, understanding
And if she is blessed to receive all of these
You will not find a woman more grateful than she
She is content with what she has in this minute
But strives to gain more from this life she is living
Traversing life’s highway excited to see
What lays around the corner, sheer mystery
Looking at daybreak and counting the stars
She accepts every day with renewed sense of awe
Where she is now comes from where she has been
All that she’s been through and all that she’s seen
Counting her blessings one day at a time
She trusts that her future will work out just fine
Not afraid of asking when needing a hand
For she knows that she will give it back when she can
The cycle of life is quite simple, you see
She has learnt to receive her life gracefully
Sometimes it is hard to receive, just try to do it gracefully and accept gratefully #awomanonpurpose
